• Recommended Dilution: Peptide ELISA: 1/32000 (Detection Limit).
  Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave bands at approx 50 kDa and 25 kDa in Human Kidney lysate after 1ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the bands we observe given the predicted sizes of 41.0kDa according to NP_036320 (isoform a) and 30.8kDa according to NP_65892 (isofrom b). The bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
  Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin Sections: 2-4 µg/ml. In paraffin embedded Human Testis shows primarily nuclear staining in the primary spermatocytes.
  This product has been successfully used in Mouse Epididymus by anonymous customer.

• Background: FOXI1 belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which are characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
