Background | Monoclonal antibody OX-7 recognizes the 18kDa Thy 1.1 antigenic determinant on rat and mouse cells. This antigen is found on a variety of cell types including thymocytes, neuronal cells, T and immature B cells, breast epithelial cells, and connective tissue. The antigen is involved in T cell activation and signal transduction. CD90 represents a single Ig domain inserted into membranes via a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchor. |
