Product Data
Clone Name 5G11b
Applications FC
Recommended Dilution Flow Cytometry: Use 10 µl of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100 µl.
Reactivities Mouse
Host Rat
Isotype IgG2a
Clonality Monoclonal
Immunogen Recombinant extracellular domain of LT beta R
Specificity This antibody recognises lymphotoxin-beta receptor (LT beta R), a member of the tumour necrosis factor family. LT beta R is primarily expressed on stromal cells and fibroblasts and at lower levels on myeloid cell lines. Clone 5G11b specifically recognises surface expressed LT beta R. The clone is reported to be agonistic with respect to NF Kappa B activation, MIP-2 induction and IL-6 release (2).
This product is routinely tested on mouse WEHI cells.
Formulation Phosphate buffered saline pH7.4, 0.09% Sodium Azide, 1% Bovine Serum Albumin
Label: PE
State: Lyophilized Ig fraction
Label: R. Phycoerythrin (RPE)
Reconstitution Method Reconstitute with 1.0 ml distilled water
Concentration lot specific
Purification Affinity chromatography on Protein G
Conjugation PE
Storage Store the antibody prior and following reconstitution at 2-8°C.
DO NOT FREEZE.
This product is photosensitive and should be protected from light.
Stability Shelf life: One year from despatch.
Background The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) family of receptors. It is expressed on the surface of most cell types, including cells of epithelial and myeloid lineages, but not on T and B lymphocytes. The protein specifically binds the lymphotoxin membrane form (a complex of lymphotoxin alpha and lymphtoxin beta). The encoded protein and its ligand play a role in the development and organization of lymphoid tissue and tranformed cells. Activation of the encoded protein can trigger apoptosis.
Synonyms Tumor necrosis factor receptor 3, TNF-R3, Tumor necrosis factor C receptor, TNFCR, TNFRSF3, D12S370, Lymphotoxin-beta receptor
