Gene Name Homo sapiens lamin A/C (LMNA), transcript variant 2
Background Lamin C antibody LS-B2972 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to Lamin C (N-Terminus) from human. It is reactive with human, mouse and rat. Validated for IF, IHC and WB. Tested on 20 paraffin-embedded human tissues. Cited in 2 publications.
Synonyms CDCD1; CDDC; CMD1A; CMT2B1; EMD2; FPL; FPLD; HGPS; IDC; LDP1; LFP; LGMD1B; LMN1; LMNC; OTTHUMP00000015843; PRO1
Note Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2972 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2972 was determined to be 1:50.
