Western blot analysis of BNIP3L / BNIP3A Antibody (Center) in A549 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).

  Immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human uterus tissue reacted with BNIP3L / BNIP3A Antibody (Center), which was followed by peroxidase conjugated to the secondary antibody and DAB staining.

• 

  Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of BNIP3L / BNIP3A Antibody (Center) with A549 cell followed by Alexa Fluor®488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). Actin filaments have been labeled with Alexa Fluor 555 phalloidin (red). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).

• 

  Flow cytometric analysis of A549 cells using BNIP3L / BNIP3A Antibody (Center) (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.

• Background: This gene is a member of the BCL2/adenovirus E1B 19 kd-interacting protein (BNIP) family. It interacts with the E1B 19 kDa protein which is responsible for the protection of virally-induced cell death, as well as E1B 19 kDa-like sequences of BCL2, also an apoptotic protector. The protein encoded by this gene is a functional homolog of BNIP3, a proapoptotic protein. This protein may function simultaneously with BNIP3 and may play a role in tumor suppression.
