Working Dilutions: After reconstitution with 750 μl distilled water, dilute 1/20 for ELISA (dilute immediately before use).
Incubation Time: 1 h at 37°C For ELISA and overnight at 2-8°C for Immunohistochemistry or Immunofluorescence microscopy.
Host Mouse
Isotype IgG2a
Clonality Monoclonal
Immunogen Adeno-associated virus type 1 (AAV-1) capsid proteins and virus particles
Specificity For characterization of different stages of infection and Specificity very useful for the analysis of the AAV assembly process.
ADK1a specifically reacts with intact adeno-associated virus particles, empty and full capsids. Recognizes a conformational epitope of assembled capsids, not present
in denatured capsid proteins and native but unassembled capsid proteins.
In immunofluorescence microscopy and dot blot analysis cross-reactivity with AAV-6 was observed. No crossreaction with AAV type 2, 3, 4, 5.
