Product Data | |
Clone Name | No-63 |
Applications | IF, IHC, IP, WB |
Recommended Dilution | Immunoblotting: 1:1000 - 1:2000; ECL method; for blotting transfer nitrocellulose sheets are superior to nylon sheets. Immunoprecipitation: from Xenopus oocyte extracts nucleoplasmin - a 30 kD protein - is co-precipitated, which shows high sequence homology to NO38. Immunofluorescence microscopy. Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections: 1:300 - 1:500; 1 h at RT; also after fixation with paraformaldehyde. |
Reactivities | Chicken, Xenopus |
Host | Mouse |
Isotype | IgG2a |
Clonality | Monoclonal |
Immunogen | Nucleolar fraction prepared from Xenopus laevis oocytes |
Specificity | The antibody recognizes a 38 kD nucleolar protein (NO38) in Xenopus (this protein has also been termed B23, nucleophosmin, numatrin in other species). No-63 stains specifically the granular component of the nucleolus and small nucleolar dots in interphase cells. During mitosis the protein is localized accumulated around the condensed chromosomes. |
Formulation | State: Ascites State: Liquid Ascites containing 0.09% NaN3 |
Storage | Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in small aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. |
Stability | Shelf life: one year from despatch. |
Synonyms | NPM, NPM1, Numatrin |
