Product Data
Recommended Dilution Suitable for use in Immunoblotting, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunomicroscopy as well as other antibody based assays using streptavidin or avidin conjugates requiring extremely low background levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity.
Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Human IgG in a standard capture ELISA using Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:3,000 to 1:8,500 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product.
Reactivities Human
Host Goat
Clonality Polyclonal
Immunogen Human κ (kappa) light chain.
Specificity This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using antigens coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation.
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, anti-Biotin, Human IgG and Human Serum.
No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin or anti-Goat IgG F(c).
Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross reactivity against other human heavy or light chain isotypes.
Formulation 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2, with 10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) IgG and Protease free as stabilizer and 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide as preservative.
Label: Biotin
State: Lyophilized F(ab')2 fragments.
Label: Biotinamidocaproate N-Hydroxysuccinimide Ester (BAC)
