| Background | PTPRC is a transmembrane tyrosine phosphatase that is present on all leukocytes. PTPRC regulates the threshold of T cell antigen receptor (TCR) signaling through dephosphorylation of protein tyrosine kinases (e.g. Lck and Fyn). 2B11 is widely used, in conjunction with the CD45RB antibody PD7/26, to detect white cell-derived tumours in paraffin sections. |
