This should ensure antibody stability for approximately one month.

• Background: Amyloid β-Protein fragment (1-40) is derived from the Amyloid β-Protein, which is mapped to human chromosome 21q21.3. It is predominantly present in the vascular amyloid deposits and it has been shown that Amyloid β-Protein (1-40) together with Amyloid β-Protein (1-42) are two major C-terminal variants of the Amyloid β-Protein and undergo post-secretory aggregation and deposition in the Alzheimer’s disease brain. This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with Amyloid β-Protein (1- 40) coupled to a carrier protein.
