Background | Growth hormone-releasing factor (GRF), also known as Somatocrinin, is a 44 amino acid peptide hormone produced in the arcuate nucleus of the hypothalamus. GRF stimulates growth hormone production and release by binding to the GRF receptor (GHRHR) on cells in the anterior pituitary. This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with Growth Hormone Releasing Factor coupled to a carrier protein. |
