• Background: Insulin-like Growth Factor I (IGF-I) (24-41) is an amino acid fragment (24 to 41) of Insulin-like Growth Factor I (IGF-I). It is partly responsible for systemic Growth Hormone activities, although it possesses a wide number of own properties (anabolic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cytoprotective actions). This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with IGF-I (24-41) coupled to a carrier protein.
