Background | Inhibin α-Subunit is a 32-amino acid peptide. Inhibins are glycoproteins made of an α subunit and a β subunit. They suppress FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) secretion from the pituitary and also participate in control of gonadal functions. Inhibin α (INHA) is present in adrenal glands, pituitary gland, liver and placenta. It plays a significant role in male fertility. This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with Inhibin α-Subunit (1-32) coupled to a carrier protein. |
