This should ensure antibody stability for approximately one month.

• Background: γ-Melanocyte Simulating Hormone is an endogenous neuropeptide hormone. It belongs to the group of peptides called melanocortins and derived from the cleavage of the precursor polypeptide Pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC) in the pituitary gland. γ- Melanocyte Simulating Hormone is known to be an agonist of the melanocortin receptors (MCRs) and exists in three forms, γ1-MSH, γ2-MSH, and γ3-MSH. This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with γ2-MSH coupled to a carrier protein.
