• Background: Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase-Activating Polypeptide-38 also known as PACAP-38 is a neuropeptide that has substantial sequence homology to vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP). It is reported to serve as a neuronal survival factor and it has a greater potency for stimulation of adenylyl cyclase. This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with PACAP-38 coupled to a carrier protein.
