• Formulation: Each vial contains enough antiserum for 500 RIA tubes. The powder should be rehydrated with 50ml RIA buffer. Upon reconstitution to 50ml total volume, the solution contains 0.1M sodium phosphate buffer (pH 7.4), 0.05M NaCl, 0.1% BSA, 0.01% NaN3, and 0.1% Triton X-100. Store at 4°C. This should ensure antibody stability for approximately one month.

• Background: Dendroaspis natriuretic peptide (DNP) is a 38-residue peptide and a member of natriuretic peptide family. It is structurally similar to the atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP), brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), and C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP) and possesses biologic properties similar to these natriuretic peptides. This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with Dendroaspis Natriuretic Peptide coupled to a carrier protein.
