Background | Kisspeptin-13 is an amino acid peptide which derives from the proteolytic cleavage of Kisspeptin-145, encoded by the KISS-1 gene located on the chromosome 1. It has been recently reported that it could mitigate memory impairment induced by Aβ1-42 in mice and it may be used as a potential drug for enhancing memory and treating Alzheimer's disease. This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with Kisspeptin-13 coupled to a carrier protein. |
