• Background: Neuromedin S is a 36-amino acid neuropeptide located in the brain of humans and other mammals. It is related to neuromedin U and is produced in the suprachiasmatic nucleus of the hypothalamus. Neuromedin S is involved in the regulation of circadian rhythm and in the regulation of several peptide hormones including vasopressin, luteinizing hormone, and oxytocin. This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with Neuromedin S coupled to a carrier protein.
