• Background: RNA-binding protein that plays a role in the regulation of alternative splicing and influences mRNA splice site selection and exon inclusion. Binds both poly(A and poly(U homopolymers. Phosphorylation by PTK6 inhibits its RNA-binding ability (By similarity.
