HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY NFKBIZ (RC219121, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-NFKBIZ. Positive lysates LY410530 (100ug) and LC410530 (20ug) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

  HEK293T cells transfected with either RC219121 overexpress plasmid (Red) or empty vector control plasmid (Blue) were immunostained by anti-NFKBIZ antibody (TA502768), and then analyzed by flow cytometry.

  Flow cytometric Analysis of Hela cells, using anti-NFKBIZ antibody (TA502768), (Red), compared to a nonspecific negative control antibody ([TA50011]), (Blue).

• Background: This gene is a member of the ankyrin-repeat family and is induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). The C-terminal portion of the encoded product which contains the ankyrin repeats, shares high sequence similarity with the I kappa B family of proteins. The latter are known to play a role in inflammatory responses to LPS by their interaction with NF-B proteins through ankyrin-repeat domains. Studies in mouse indicate that this gene product is one of the nuclear I kappa B proteins and an activator of IL-6 production. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]
