Applications ELISA, ID, IF, IHC, IP
Recommended Dilution Can be used to identify and measure IgG2, antigen or antibody, at the cellular and subcellular level by immunofluorescence staining of appropriately treated cell and tissue substrates, and to demonstrate circulating antibodies in serodiagnostic microbiology and autoimmune diseases; to identify a specific antigen or immune complex using a reference antibody of guinea pig origin in the middle layer of the indirect test procedure.
This immunoconjugate is not pre-diluted. The optimum working dilution of each conjugate should be established by titration before being used. Excess labelled antibody must be avoided because it may cause high unspecific background staining and interfere with the specific signal.
Working dilutions: 1/20 - 1/80.
Reactivities Guinea Pig
Host Goat
Isotype IgG
Clonality Polyclonal
Immunogen Pools of highly purified homogenous IgG2 isolated from guinea pig serum. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Specificity The reactivity of the antiserum is directed to the subclass IgG2. It does not react with IgG1, IgG/Fab fragments, IgM and IgA or any non-Ig protein in guinea pig serum, as tested by immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion.
Cross-reactivity: Inter-species cross-reactivity is a normal feature of antibodies to immunoglobulins, since Ig of different species frequently share antigenic determinants. Cross-reactivity of this antiserum has not been tested in detail.
Formulation PBS, pH 7.2 without preservatives
Label: FITC
State: Lyophilized Hyperimmune IgG fraction
Label: Fluorescein Isothiocyanate isomer 1
Absorption emission: 492 nm / 515 nm
Molar radio: Fluorochrome/IgG ~1.9
Reconstitution Method Restore by adding 1 ml of sterile distilled water.
Concentration 10,0 mg/ml
Purification Hyperimmune antisera with strong precipitating activity are selected for Fractionation by Salt-Precipitation and DEAE-Chromatography
Conjugation FITC
Storage Prior to and following reconstitution store the antibody at 2-8°C for one month or at -20°C for longer.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Note Adsorption: Undesired traces of antibody activity are eliminated by immunoaffinity chromatography as required.
