Applications | ELISA, ID, IF, IHC, IP, WB |
Recommended Dilution | Can be used: • In direct staining of cytoplasmic IgG in fixed Monkey cells and tissue substrates. • To identify circulating IgG antibodies in serodiagnostic microbiology and autoimmune diseases. • To identify a specific antigen or immune complex using a reference antibody of Monkey in the middle layer of the test procedure. This immunoconjugate is not pre-diluted. The optimum working dilution of each conjugate should be established by titration before being used. Excess labelled antibody must be avoided because it may cause high unspecific background staining and interfere with the specific signal. Recommended Working Dilution: 1/20-1/80. |
Reactivities | Monkey |
Host | Goat |
Isotype | IgG |
Clonality | Polyclonal |
Immunogen | Purified normal IgG isolated from pooled Rhesus Monkey serum. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure. |
Specificity | The reactivity of the antiserum is directed to the Fc subunit of the IgG molecule. In immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion, using various antiserum concentrations against normal monkey plasma and serum, a single characteristic precipitin line is obtained which shows a reaction of identity with the precipitin line obtained with purified IgG. No reaction is obtained with purified IgA, IgM and IgG/Fab fragments. Cross-reactivity: Inter-species cross-reactivity is a normal feature of antibodies to immunoglobulins, since Ig of different species frequently share antigenic determinants. Precipitation reactions have been observed with IgG in serum of other old-world monkeys, including Cercopithecus, Cynomolgus and Baboon. The conjugate may also react with IgG of other species as has been observed for chimpanzee and man. |
Formulation | PBS, pH 7.2 No preservative added, as it may interfere with the antibody activity. No foreign proteins added. Label: FITC State: Lyophilised Hyperimmune Ig fraction Label: Fluorescein isothiocyanate isomer 1 Absorption emission: 492nm / 515nm Molar radio: 2.2 |
Reconstitution Method | Restore with 1 ml sterile distilled water |
Concentration | 10.0 mg/ml |
Purification | DEAE-column Chromatography |
Conjugation | FITC |
Storage | Prior to reconstitution store at 2-8°C. Following reconstitution store undiluted at 2-8°C for one week or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. |
Note | Adsorption: Immunoaffinity adsorbed using insolubilized antigens as required to eliminate antibodies reacting with other components of the immunoglobulin system or reacting with other serum proteins. The use of insolubilized adsorption antigens prevents the presence of foreign protein or immune complexes in the antiserum. |
