Product Data
Recommended Dilution Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA and Immunohistochemistry as well as other phosphatase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring extremely low background levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity.
Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 µg of Human IgG in a standard capture ELISA using pNPP p-nitrophenyl phosphate as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:4,000 to 1:20,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product.
Host Goat
Clonality Polyclonal
Immunogen Human IgG F(ab')2 fragment.
Specificity This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by Immunoaffinity chromatography using Human IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation.
Assay by Immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Alkaline Phosphatase, anti-Goat Serum, Human IgG, Human IgG F(ab')2 and Human Serum.
No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Goat IgG F(c), Human IgG F(c) or Bovine, Horse, Mouse and Rat Serum Proteins
Formulation 0.05M Tris Chloride, 0.15M Sodium Chloride, 0.001M Magnesium Chloride, 0.0001M Zinc Chloride, 50% (v/v) Glycerol; pH 8.0 with 0.01% (w/v) sodium azide as preservative and 10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA, IgG and Protease free as stabilizer.
Label: AP
State: Liquid (sterile filtered) F(ab')2 fragments.
Label: Alkaline Phosphatase (Calf Intestine, Molecular Weight 140,000 daltons)
Concentration 0.6 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm)
Purification Immunoaffinity chromatography.
Conjugation AP
Storage This antibody is stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid.
DO NOT FREEZE!
Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity.
Dilute only prior to immediate use.
