Recommended Dilution | Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or dot blot), ELISA and Immunohistochemistry as well as other phosphatase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring extremely low background levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity. Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 µg of Rabbit IgG in a standard capture ELISA using pNPP p-nitrophenyl phosphate as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:500 to 1:2,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. |
Host | Goat |
Clonality | Polyclonal |
Immunogen | Rabbit IgG F(ab')2 fragment |
Specificity | This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by Immunoaffinity chromatography using Rabbit IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation. Assay by Immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Alkaline Phosphatase, anti-Goat Serum, Rabbit IgG, Rabbit IgG F(ab')2 and Rabbit Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Goat IgG F(c), Rabbit IgG F(c) or Bovine, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rat and Sheep Serum Proteins. |
Formulation | 0.05 M Tris Chloride, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, 0.001 M Magnesium Chloride, 0.0001 M Zinc Chloride, 50% (v/v) Glycerol; pH 8.0 with 10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA, IgG and Protease free) as stabilizer and 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide as preservative. Label: AP State: Liquid (sterile filtered) F(ab')2 fragments. |
Concentration | 1.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm) |
Purification | Immunoaffinity chromatography. |
Conjugation | AP |
Storage | The antibody is stable at 2-8°C as undiluted liquid. DO NOT FREEZE!. Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity. Dilute only prior to immediate use. |
