Product Data
Recommended Dilution Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or dot blot), ELISA and Immunohistochemistry as well as other phosphatase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring extremely low background levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity.
Recommended Dilution(s): This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Rat IgG in a standard capture ELISA using pNPP p-nitrophenyl phosphate as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature.
A working dilution of 1:1,000 to 1:5,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product.
Host Goat
Clonality Polyclonal
Immunogen Rat IgG F(c) fragment
Specificity This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by Immunoaffinity chromatography using Rat IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation.
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Alkaline Phosphatase, anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgG, Rat IgG Fc and Rat Serum.
No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Goat IgG F(c), Rat F(ab')2 or Bovine, Horse, and Human Serum Proteins.
Formulation 0.05 M Tris Chloride, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, 0.001 M Magnesium Chloride, 0.0001 M Zinc Chloride, 50% (v/v) Glycerol; pH 8.0 with 10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA, IgG and Protease free) as stabilizer and 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide as preservative.
Label: AP
State: Liquid (sterile filtered) F(ab')2 fragments.
Label: Alkaline Phosphatase (Calf Intestine) (Molecular Weight 140,000 daltons)
Concentration 1.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm)
Purification Immunoaffinity chromatography.
Conjugation AP
Storage The antibody is stable at 2-8°C as undiluted liquid.
DO NOT FREEZE!
Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity.
Dilute only prior to immediate use.
