  Determination of the titer To determine the titer, an ELISA was performed using a serial dilution of the antibody against human ZBTB4. The plates were coated with the peptides used for immunization of the rabbit. By plotting the absorbance against the antibody dilution (Figure 1), the titer of the antibody was estimated to be 1:50,000.

• Background: ZBTB4 (UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot entry Q9P1Z0) is a KAISO like protein which binds to methylated DNA and regulates the transcription of methylated targets. Unlike KAISO, ZBTB4 is able to bind to single methylated CpG's. ZBTB4 acts as a transcriptional repressor protein and has been shown to be downregulated in the advanced stage of different tumours.
