HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY VIL1 (RC216340, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-VIL1. Positive lysates LY416173 (100ug) and LC416173 (20ug) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

• Background: This gene encodes a member of a family of calcium-regulated actin-binding proteins. This protein represents a dominant part of the brush border cytoskeleton which functions in the capping, severing, and bundling of actin filaments.
