HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY CSNK1E (RC202436, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-CSNK1E. Positive lysates LY403455 (100ug) and LC403455 (20ug) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

  Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (10 ug per lane) of wild-type Hela cells (WT, Cat# LC810HELA) and CSNK1E-Knockout Hela cells (KO, Cat# LC810054) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-CSNK1E monoclonal antibody TA803780. Then the blotted membrane was stripped and reprobed with anti-HSP90AB1 antibody (TA500494) as a loading control (1:500).

• Background: The protein encoded by this gene is a serine/threonine protein kinase and a member of the casein kinase I protein family, whose members have been implicated in the control of cytoplasmic and nuclear processes, including DNA replication and repair. The encoded protein is found in the cytoplasm as a monomer and can phosphorylate a variety of proteins, including itself.
